Capt. Robert supplies premium fly rods, reels, flies, and tackle from trusted brands including Sage, Thomas & Thomas, Orvis, Scientific Anglers, Rio, Penn, and Bulls Bay Rods. Bringing your own setup? You’re more than welcome to — we’ll talk through gear beforehand. A 9-weight fast-action rod is the ideal all-arounder; step up to a 10 or 12 for big tarpon, big sharks, and permit.

New to saltwater fly? Down here, weather and wind change everything, even for lifelong trout anglers. Capt. Robert offers face-to-face instruction on casting, presentation, and fly selection to get you ready before you’re standing on the bow.
